Veganism has become global movement with 'Veganuary' becoming a New Years Resolution for many people each Jan. Small businesses have been up-ing their Vegan game, introducing tasty specials & new exciting menus full of flavour to cater to the Vegan world.
Here’s a few places you can get a Vegan feed in the city whether it's for the month of January or all year round. And a little reward with your Independent Derry Card too when you choose to support local.

They are home to a huge variety Vegan food, creating a delicious, healthy menu that is bursting with plant based options including vegan breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, kebabs, sauces & more; and more recently this cafe has launched 'chat plates' every Sat evening where you can tickle the taste buds on more vegan options that you won't find on the menu during the day! This restaurant offers a full Vegan menu that includes a variety of small plates, mains & a full vegan Sunday lunch menu too! The much loved Nonna's Wood Fired Pizza on Spencer Road & Shipquay Street have added a Vegan special to the menu as part of #Veganuary called the 'Capodanno' which translates to 'New Year.' Made up of fire roasted peppers, sun blush tomatoes, chillies, red onion & roquito peppers, YUM. More Vegan options on their menu include the 'mona lisa,' 'the marinara' & the 'classic Margherita.'
