Scenery are launching their new EP 'Old News' on the 3rd of June at The Playhouse Theatre with a special gig and some special guests too. Their last EP was one we listened to quite a bit and so we're looking forward to what the next EP has in store.
So, a bit about Scenery. These guys are 5 piece Rock and Soul band and are yet another another band from our city who's musical talents doesn't go unnoticed. They have been around just over a year and have managed to create a great profile for themselves so far. You may have caught them gigging in local bars and venues around the city over the past year such as The Guildhall, the Bentley and Bennigans Bar which is a bar very much known for opening it's doors to lots of local musicians and giving them a chance to perform.
Their latest EP 'Old News' is being released under Fictive Kin Records who are an independent record label and was recorded with a local producer and audio engineer, Liam Craig. On the 3rd of June they take to the stage at the Playhouse Theatre to perform a special gig, letting you hear all the new music that they have recently been working on. Two other bands join them on the night 'Foreign Owl' & 'The Midnight Preachers' so make sure to get down support these guys too!
There are still some tickets available online or you can pick one up on the door tomorrow night (first come first served). Doors 9:30pm.
