So tomorrow is the 4th of July, Independence Day in America, 'INDEPENDENTS' day in Northern Ireland.
A day dedicated to showing your support to the Independent businesses that exist, celebrating the contribution they make to our economy and just making our city great in general (although we here at Independent Derry try to convey this message everyday).
So, whatever it is you're at tomorrow, whether you've got an Independent Derry card or not, show your support to the businesses who make Derry unique.
Shopping locally is key in driving the local economy forward, for every pound spent in an independent business, 70 pence of this goes back in and around the local economy supporting local producers, shops, city centres, farms etc.
